After a very long hiatus The (Not So) Daily Wrap returns. It's no coincidence the last edition was in the previous school holidays & this edition is in the current school holidays as I escape to my study for a bit off peace & quiet from the kids!
The year kicked off with not only the launch off the Beta Tournament but also the introduction off the panel. ViperDSG, amurphy.eth, wiz, JusticeAlbatraoz were all voted in by their fellow team owners & alongside tbar they formed the first NFTeams panel.
You will have seen recently wiz recently had to step down from the panel due to time commitments, (check out Project.824) voting is currently open for the new panel member & it's a really close contest between NRLProphets & fuse with less then 100 votes separating them at the moment. Voting is also open for tournament #1 prize structure & team owners can cast their votes at https://www.nfteams.club/vote

At the start off the year we also started seeing the first batch off team name changes starting to come through. Name changes are currently back open again & team owners have until the end off April to submit their name changes. These should hopefully start showing up halfway through May & remember any future name changes after the 30th April deadline will cost $100.
It's great to see some off the clever name changes owners have come up with so far with Duck Norris becoming a cult legend within the NFTeams discord, whilst bigwil had a slightly different strategy with some off his teams.

Towards the end of February Steve conducted the second mint pass draw which was a trip to the 2023 Superbowl. We off course all know that Alderon defied the odds to add the Superbowl trip to his Qatar trip in November/December this year. This caused the launch off the yell-at-alderon channel in the discord & with 3 more mint pass draws to be completed the question remains if Alderon can make it a clean sweep.

In March the new rarity site arrived & I think most team owners (unless you own a gold shield team) will agree that Peak did a fantastic job.

March also had the start off some great community events with the launch off AFL/NRL tipping competitions as well as the March Madness bracket competition. Congratulations to bootman who is now the new owner off the Aggressive Bulls after winning the March Madness competition. After round 5 dexmeta.eth has a slight lead over Moochy86 in the AFL tipping whilst Billy Kroos leads the NRL tipping after 6 rounds.
Quarter 2 will be even bigger for NFTeams with tournament #2 hopefully launching & the jersey drop coming soon. Shout out Kevy who has been doing some amazing work going by the sneak peaks we have seen on twitter & discord.
Off course quarter 2 started with a bang with the launch off the promo video on the 1st of April. https://twitter.com/i/status/1509825397935902724
