2021 NFTeams Yearly Recap

It's fair to say Steve has been pretty busy & the list below shows just how far the project has come in the last 5 months or so. I'm also pretty sure the 2022 list will be even longer!

If there's anything I've missed let me known in the discord, otherwise I hope all the NFTeam community have a great new years & The Daily Wrap will be back in 2022.

• July 16th - Steve posts Episode #0 10K NFT Avatar projects. Watch me build one from scratch on YouTube.

• July 21st - Steve makes his post in the NFTeams discord.

• July 23rd - OG status granted to the first 140 supporters.

• July 30th - The project officially becomes known as NFTeams & the NFTeams twitter page is created. Earlier potential project names include: Crypto Sports League, Blockchain Sports League & World Series of NFT.

• August 27th - The website https://www.nfteams.club/ is up & running.

• September 1st- NFTeams presale.

• September 8th - 1000 Secondary Mint Passes go up for Sale.

• September 20th - Minting date announced with the sale to commence Saturday 16th October 6pm AEST.

• September 23rd - First official sponsor announced as Riverside Cafe & Bar in Vero Beach Florida.

• October 2nd - Coo releases the the first episode of NFT Sports Radio.

• October 16th - This date will go down in history not because of Nature Strip's victory in the Everest or for Incentivise destroying his rivals in the Caulfield Cup but for the NFTeams sale day. OG's minted first at 6PM AEDT, followed by mint pass holders at 7PM AEDT before the public mint commenced at 9PM AEDT.

• October 17th - Reveal date didn't exactly go as planned, however the gradual reveal of teams made it a memorable day. NFTeams also officially sold out.

• October 18th - Metadata uploaded & traits revealed.

• October 19th - TopSport announced as the first NFTeams Yearly sponsor.

• October 23rd - Team owners can check rarity on Rarity Sniper.

• October 27th - Bored Ape announcement! 99 Bored Ape Derivative teams have a chance to win the original ape if they win the monthly tournament. Win the tournament & it will trigger the Boring coin flip, win the Boring coin flip & the Bored Ape Mega Tournament is triggered where the winner takes Bored Ape #2134.

• October 28th - At 6 eth Slithering Snakes breaks the NFTeams sale price record.

• November 2nd - Announcement that owners of teams with a Black or Green NFTeam hat will get a free cap every ear.

• November 4th - Steel City NFTeams Pod launches.

• November 9th - Merch store goes live.

• November 30th - First official NFTeams meet up announced which will happen at the 2022 Australian Tennis Open.

• December 1st- Bitcoin & Eth announcement. The first team with a Bitcoin crown to win the monthly tournament will win that team owner 1 Bitcoin whilst the first team with a Eth crown to win the monthly tournament will win that team owner 5 Eth.

• December 9th - Mat announces he is coming onboard full time to NFTeams.

• December 11th - Announcement of the 'panel'.

• December 17th - Mint pass holders can start burning their passes to win a chance of 5 mega sporting prizes.

• December 18th - Decision time for OG holders as they can now burn their passes.

• December 21st - Team name changes are now allowed.

• December 26th - Alderon wins the World Cup prize.
