Beta Tournament is Live - Thursday 6th January

It's been 128 days since the NFTeams pre sale last September and now we don't have long to wait until the first official tournament kicks off. Beta team owners have until midnight AEDT tomorrow to get their selections in for week one. The Working White Fangs have been training hard and are ready to battle 999 other teams to claim the 10K AUD 1st price.

No surprises that beta teams have been well represented in recent sales. Beta teams make up 10% off the total collection, however over the last 45 sales beta teams have been involved in nearly 38% of these sales. A few teams have changed owners a couple of times recently including the aptly named 'Flipping Wazowskis'. With some beta teams selling for low prices this has provided some good trading opportunities, bigwil purchased beta team Strapping Aliens (comes with 278 total stats) recently for 0.099 eth & a few days later sold them for 0.23 eth.

Over the last few day beta teams have sold from as low as 0.075 eth to 0.3 eth. One beta team that fetched quite a fair bit more was The Choking Simians who sold for a huge 0.7 eth. The Choking Simians are a great looking team & currently rank at number 50 on rarity sniper.

The other big sale in the past few days was The Hodling Longhorns which sold for 0.43 eth. The Hodling Longhorns have stats totalling 338 which continues to show teams with good stats come with a premium.

Congratulations to Warhead for taking out the Beard Bears Invitational with 32 points, it was a tense finish with Warhead just pipping a Gambling Ape by 1 point. The Beard Bear pre sale is now open with the public sale due at the end off the month, once 25% off the collection is sold Warhead will receive 1 ETH and Beard Bears will spend a massive 13 ETH purchasing NFTeams. Shout outs to djriv2 who came equal 3rd in the Invitational and will collect 0.15 ETH and to Steve (nrlbig) who wins a Beard Bear Mint Pass after winning day 3 off the Invitational.
