Happy New Year to all the NFTeams community.
2021 finished with a bang with Steve opening up the voting for the 1st position on the panel, voting is now live for the four categories (mods are going to rotate) with voting due to close on Wednesday 5th January. We also got the news all beta team owners have been waiting for with the beta tournament to open on the 6th January, Steve also gave us a sneak peak in the discord earlier today.

Tournaments will last a month with 6 teams per bracket battling each other until we reach the final 8.
'10k/6 = 1667 brackets in week 1
1667/6 = 278 brackets in week 2
278/6 = 47 brackets in week 3
47/6 = 8 brackets in week 4.
8 winners from each bracket (Conference) fight it out for the major prize'
Steve also teased us with news regarding an interesting meeting he had earlier today, speculation is rife in the discord with a potential collab on the horizon soon.

Today saw the start off the Beard Bear invitational, 40 points will be available over the next few days of events, although still early in the competition it's great to see lots of NFTeam owners near the top off the leaderboard. After NFTeams won the qualifying event there has been a lot of debate in the discord as to whether a 'floor sweep' would be good or not in the long term. Personally I'm not sure either way, however it would be amazing to see a NFTeam owner scooping the 1ETH individual first prize.
A big shout out to Coo at NFT Sports Radio & the guys at the Steel City NFTeams pod. I have begrudgingly spent the last few days camping at a unpowered site without showers. I may have smelt really bad, been bitten dozens of times but it gave me chance to catch up on the latest episodes of both podcasts. They were two fantastic episodes to listen to, as they always are and it was great to get some great little snippets of info from Steve.
